Movement Schools Nondiscrimination Statement

Movement Schools prohibit unlawful discrimination, harassment, or bullying, including on the basis of race; color; religion; ancestry; national origin; sex (including gender, gender identity, and sexual orientation); socioeconomic status; academic status; physical appearance; pregnancy or childbirth; age (over 40); mental, physical, development, or sensory disability; or by association with a person who has or is perceived to have one or more of these characteristics.

Any person who believes that he or she has been discriminated against, harassed, or bullied by any student, employee, or other person under the supervision and control of Movement Schools, is encouraged to report such discrimination, harassment, or bullying to their principal or supervisor.

Movement Schools also prohibit retaliation against any person who has exercised any rights made available through state or federal law or Board policies, including making reports of such violations. Any violation of these policies are considered a serious violation and appropriate action will be taken in response.
